Remember when growing up, if you want something from your parents, you make your youngest sister ask for it since you knew your parents won’t say no to them? That’s exactly what these cats did when a man named Robert Brantley stopped to rescue one of them. When Robert was driving to a shooting range in Louisiana through a deserted street, he came across a tiny black and white kitten wandering alone. So he stopped the car and got off to pick it up. The little feline also approached him excitedly. However, what happened next was totally unexpected. Among the grasses, 12 more kittens came out, wanting to be rescued.

Before the kittens came out, he noticed the grass on the roadside moving slightly. The next moment, he was ambushed by a dozen kittens with no warning. In the endearing video that Robert posted on Instagram, he excitedly screams “Oh no, there’s a whole… Oh my gosh!” He seems to be genuinely shocked and taken aback by the sudden appearance of kittens. The little kittens continue purring and nudging against Robert’s ankles, while Robert says “I can’t take all. Oh my gosh, there’s a kitten problem.”
Robert’s family has pets, therefore, he wasn’t sure about taking them all in. However, he didn’t have the heart to leave them either, and that’s how he became a ‘cat dad’. Recalling this precious moment, the 37-year-old states that it was very emotional. This is because he realized that the kittens have been likely abandoned by someone when they were too little to survive by themselves.
